David Virgo is your Conservative and Unionist Party Councillor for Bonnyrigg ward. He leads the Group on Midlothian Council.
David lives in Bonnyrigg with his young family and dog and appreciates the issues facing us locally as he sees them every day.
As your local councillor, David would like to review the Roads Maintenance strategy, ensure that housing developers contribute to improving the local areas affected and hold the council accountable for dealing with environmental crimes like fly-tipping and dog fouling that have a huge impact on the enjoyment of our town.
David believes that greater effort must be made by the Council to better understand the needs of the local communities in order to drive decisions about local investment, development and policing to ensure we have a safe, clean and enjoyable place to live and work.
